CEIP: Smart Solar Financing for Your Business

As a business owner, finding innovative ways to cut energy costs of your commercial property is essential. The The Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) makes this easier by offering financing for energy-efficient and renewable energy upgrades, including solar, with competitive interest rates and flexible repayment terms.

With the CEIP, you can upgrade your property’s energy systems without the burden of large upfront costs, saving you money while increasing your property’s value.

What Is the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP)?

The Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) helps businesses finance energy-efficient upgrades and renewable energy solutions. It offers financing for up to 100% of energy improvements, with repayment added to your property tax bill. This unique feature ties repayment to the property, not the owner. This makes it easier for businesses to benefit without affecting the ability to sell or transfer ownership.

Other Energy Efficiency Upgrades Available Through CEIP

In addition to solar energy systems, the CEIP supports other energy-efficient upgrades for commercial properties, including:

  • – Lighting systems
  • – HVAC upgrades
  • – Insulation improvements
  • – Water heating systems

Why Solar?

Solar energy is one of the most impactful upgrades a business can make. With a solar system, your building will generate its own electricity, reducing dependence on utility companies and shielding your business from unpredictable energy price increases.

According to the Canadian Solar Industries Association, energy prices in Canada have risen by over 20% in the past five years. With costs expected to increase, solar energy is a great way to protect your business from future price volatility.

Solar is a key driver of long-term energy independence and sustainability. By choosing solar installations through the CEIP, your business is making a valuable investment for your bottom line and the environment.
