Power Your Purpose

A Growing Legacy of Impact

At SkyFire Energy, we believe in the power of community.

Through our Power Your Purpose initiative, we are committed to supporting non-profits that work tirelessly to make a difference. Each year, we select a deserving organization from a list of publicly nominated candidates to receive a fully installed solar system—at no cost.

As a Certified B Corporation, we believe business can be a force for good. This initiative is about more than sustainability; it’s about empowerment.

Power Your Purpose continues to strengthen the non-profit sector by making sustainable energy accessible. By reducing energy costs, we help these organizations redirect valuable resources back into their mission, whether it’s providing housing for seniors, supporting cancer patients, protecting vulnerable children, or uplifting Indigenous youth. When an organization can save on operating expenses, it can invest more in the people and causes that matter most.

Why It Matters

Building Resilient Communities:
Power Your Purpose is not just about providing clean energy; it’s about building resilience. By equipping non-profits with solar power, we help them become more energy-independent and less vulnerable to fluctuating utility costs. This means greater financial stability and long-term sustainability for organizations dedicated to community service.
A Ripple Effect of Impact:
The impact of this initiative extends beyond the selected non-profit. The savings generated by solar energy can lead to expanded programs, additional support for beneficiaries, and even the ability to hire more staff or volunteers. The more they save, the more they can give.
Inspiring Change & Leading by Example: When a non-profit integrates solar into its operations, it sets a powerful example for the communities it serves. These installations are real-world demonstrations of renewable energy in action, inspiring businesses, individuals, and other organizations to explore sustainable solutions.
A Shared Commitment to a Better Future: At SkyFire Energy, we see this initiative as a reflection of our core values and living the values of a Certified B Corporation. Working with our community can empower those who dedicate their lives to making the world a better place.
A Transparent & Inclusive Process: Anyone can nominate a non-profit for consideration, making this a true community-driven initiative. We want the decision-making process to be as inclusive as possible, ensuring that organizations serving diverse causes have the opportunity to benefit.
