Last year, SkyFire designed and installed a 60.6kW direct utility tied system in Fort Simpson, NT, making it the largest array in the territory. The project presented several challenges including an ice bridge/ferry route that was impassable for much of the project, low light conditions, and temperatures as low as -35 degrees Celsius in January. The system was completed well ahead of schedule and is now offsetting generator use within the town of Fort Simpson.
