Powering the Community: SkyFire’s Solar Trailer Kicks Off the 2013 Season!

This weekend we’ll be kicking off our Solar Trailer’s 2013 season by powering EcoLiving Events’ WWF Canada Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23 at the Bridgeland/Riverside Community Centre. Come on out for a drumming session, hot chocolate and coffee, and a Solar Light Display.

The SkyFire Energy Solar Energy Station is both an educational tool and a working power station available free of cost to community organizations/non-profits or for rental for private functions. This portable energy station can power PA systems, full stages, popcorn machines, computers, lights, construction sites, electric grills and much more. The trailer has powered such events as the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Lilac Festival, Marda Gras, Sun & Salsa Festival, Stampede breakfasts and other festivals and events across Alberta.  We are looking forward to another great season of providing clean energy to Calgary’s community events!

Keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook feeds for updates on events we will be powering this summer.
