In this episode, we feature David Kelly, our CEO & Founder, who is the spark that started the “fire” in SkyFire Energy. He shares about the first solar PV system that he installed in 2001 and how it was a bold move to venture into the solar business when solar was in its infancy in Canada and the economics weren’t great at that time. Since then, the price of solar has reduced significantly, making it a viable energy investment that now works without subsidies and can compete with grid prices. David Kelly shares about SkyFire’s journey over the last 18 years and how we grew to become Western Canada’s leading solar provider.
